Interesting keepsake from the world of Edwardian English London jewellers This is a ring or watch presentation box from Davis and Co on Denmark Hill in Camberwell London Jewellers Silversmiths Opticians It is an interesting design of stiff paperboard with reinforced METAL corners Great logo on lid and inside the lid, there is an admonition to use registered mail if shipping the watch or jewels in the box- use extra stamps Still has the original cotton batting inside 2 1/2 inches square and an inch deep Has some rubs, minor stains but overall intact and good condition for its age A miracle that it survived
